Scribner’s Lodge has reimagined a late-modernist motor lodge into a retreat that’s both contemporary and steeped in history. The original brick road, once used by visitors to unload their cars, remains as a nostalgic nod to the past. Perched on the side of a mountain with expansive views, the lodge and its 23-acre property—just under a mile from Hunter Mountain—shine with renewed splendor following a meticulous renovation by Brooklyn-based Post Company. The newly designed Round Suites feature roofs with an oculus at the center, allowing natural light to stream in and offering breathtaking views of the stars above.
